Two Days
It may appear I haven't been working the last couple of days, but such is not the case. After my hiatus, I discovered I'd lost touch with my story, so I reread the whole thing to get back on track. Nearly 60,000 words takes a while to get through.
Also, I realized I'd written to the end of my early plot outline rather faster than I expected, and was just blundering along without even the vaguest of destination ideas. Although I like to leave my plots open, that was perhaps too open, and I was having trouble getting anywhere. So, I also wrote nearly 1,000 words of character sketches, vague plot outline, and over-arching themes. And now I believe I really am back on track.

Well, obviously, I hit a wall here, though I assure you it was of the Life variety, and my hiatus had more to do with Outside Events than personal failure. My circumstances have more or less righted themselves, however, and I hope to pick up where I left off without losing any more momentum.
